Adds a peppery kick to your salad. Wild rocket is slower to bolt and has a longer cropping season than the cultivated form. Flowers are also edible.
Sowing instructions:
Start off indoors from March or sow direct late April. Sow thinly and then cover with compost and seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
Growing instructions:
Harvest when the leaves are young and soft - the older the leaf, the hotter and more bitter it will be. Allow to flower if you want to harvest the flowers, which are lovely tossed in with new potatoes and a bit of butter or oil.
Notes:
Perennial, so will come back for a few years.
